Services for Bennie Joyce Moore Dixon, age 71, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home of Dublin. Rev. Daniel Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Dixon died Thursday, August 14, 2014. Mrs. Dixon, a member of First Church of the Nazarene, retired from the VA Medical Center where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech for a number of years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Moore and Pearl Coleman Moore. Survivors include her husband, William Ronnie Dixon, of Dublin; children, Casey Dixon, of Swainsboro, Angie (Jeff) Clements, of Roberta, Robbie (Jenny) Dixon, of Woodstock; grandchildren, Ashlae Harris, Lindsey Skinner, Austin Dixon, Cassie Dixon, Emma Dixon, Justin Dean, Abby Dixon; great grandchildren, Allyssa Feagin, Jasmyn Feagin, Bo Skinner, Leila Harris; sisters, Woody Vaughan, and Jane (Larry) Stevenson, both of Eastman; and sister-in-law, Donnette Dixon, of Warner Robins.
