Services for Beth Jones, age 59, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2015, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Sapp will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Miss Jones died Thursday, May 28, 2015. Miss Jones was a 1974 West Laurens High School Honor Graduate. Graduating from Tift College in 1979, she earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Behavioral Sciences/Social Studies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lydia Jones; daughter, Melissa Harris; grandparents, David and Annie Curl Woodard and Neal and Georgia Fordham Jones. Survivors include her children, Timothy Harris, Crystal Harris, both of East Dublin; sisters, Deborah Rogers, Lucy Jones, both of Dublin, Vickie Scott, of Daytona Beach, FL; brother, Jeff Jones, of Dublin; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless cousins and other family members.
