Services for Betty B. Coleman, age 77 of Glenwood, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel and Rev. Jimmy Napier will officiate. She passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013. Mrs. Coleman was born in Dublin, Georgia to the late Henry S. and Agnes Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Myrtle Maddox, Florrie Moses and Dorothy Johnson, and brothers, Bobby Brown and Jerrell Brown. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Wayne Coleman of Glenwood; daughters, Patti (Mike) Falco of Jacksonville, FL and Kay (Ken) Hughes of Soperton; granddaughter, Crystal (Patrick) Taylor of Jacksonville, FL; grandsons, Josh (Joanna) Smith of Brunswick and Brock (Kristy) Smith of Glenwood; great-grandchildren, Lacy Taylor, Coleman Smith, Noah Johnson, Josie Johnson, Ashton Smith and Jacob Smith; brother, Carson Brown; sister-in-law, Betty C. Brown; brother-in-law, Truitt (Bernice) Coleman and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Steve Brown, Jeff Brown, DeWitt Moses, Calvin Moses, Mike Carter, Billy Mathis and Brian Mathis. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
