Mrs. Betty Evans, age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mrs. Evans was born August 19, 1931 in Buford, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late George William Britt and Lucille Cantrell Britt, her husband, Frederick Nathan Evans and a son, Frederick Todd Evans. She was an active member of Rentz Baptist Church where she was a member of the Watson Sunday school class. She was retired from Farmers State Bank as a teller and was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Jerry) Morgan, of East Dublin, and Freda (Dale) Meeks of Boise, ID;  her grandchildren, Paul (Erinn) Heron, of Chapel Hill, NC, T.J. (Tracy) Meeks, Jessie Smith, Lauren Miller, all of Boise, ID, Cameron Evans of Myrtle Beach, SC, Britt Evans Valdosta; daughter-in-law, Melissa Evans of Dexter; 11 great-grandchildren, Emma Heron, Everly Heron, Alex Meeks, Luke Meeks, Levi Meeks, Paige Smith, Gus Smith, Gracie Miller, Kate Miller, Molly Miller and Jack Miller; special niece, Jane Evans and several other  nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 15, 2022, at Rentz Baptist Church with burial to follow at Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Tom Vann will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday, July 14, 2022 at funeral home.

Her grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
