Betty Q. Tarpley, 82, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, with her family by her side.

Betty was born on March 30, 1940, in Cochran, GA to the late Jack and Hazel Belflower. She retired from Biljo, Inc. as a supervisor. After retiring, she spent her time doing what she loved the most, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was the highlight of her life. "Nanny" will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Tarpley; her brothers Kenny Belflower, Earl Belflower, and Roy Belflower; and her son in law Phillip Garnto.

She is survived by her five children; Woody (Becky) Tarpley, Phyllis (Mike) Kirby, Debra Garnto, Tony Tarpley, and Tracy (Joan) Tarpley. Her nine grandchildren; Jason Kirby, Kellie M Kirby, Chris Garnto, Chad Garnto, Adam Tarpley, Alix Dixon, Josh Tarpley, Mason Tarpley, and Whitney Rogers; along with 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at Dublin Memorial Gardens on Sunday, March 5 at 2:00pm.
