Services for Beverly Elaine Miller, age 66 of Chester, will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Wayne McDaniel will officiate. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Willie B. and Geneva Davis Edge. She was retired from Forstman & Co. where she was employed as a weave room supervisor. Mrs. Miller was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Milledgeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Miller and a brother, Edward Edge. Mrs. Miller passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Serenity Place. She is survived by a son, Michael Lowery of Las Cruces, NM; two daughters, Penny Elaine (Chuck) Parkerson of Eastman and Olivia (James) Williams, of Eatonton; six grandchildren, Bethany Lowery, Zachary Lowery and Leai Lowery all of Las Cruces, NM, Allie Parkerson and Dallas Parkerson both of Eastman and Dalton Threatt, of Eatonton; sister, Martha (Tommy) Holmes of East Dublin; brother, Glen (Donna) Edge of Eastman and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jamie Edge, Marshall Edge, Jed Edge, Dalton Threatt, Zachary Lowery and Lance Holmes. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
