Bibbie Fulford Brooks, age 55 of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Services will be held at 2:30PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene Church Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Warnock will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM until funeral hour on Saturday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Brooks was of the Baptist faith and daughter of the late Bill Moses Fulford, Sr. and the late Bernice Johnson Fulford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sebern Brooks; sister, Patsy Sheila Fulford and brother, Bill Moses Fulford, Jr. Survivors include her sister, Peggy (Darvin) Williamson of Ailey; brother, Tony (Jill) Fulford of Dublin; nieces and nephews, Melody (Doug) Truett of Mt. Vernon, Allen (Beth) Williamson of Dexter, Tyler (Ashley) Williamson of Ailey, Jason (Leigh Ann) Spigner of Dublin, Derack (Victoria) Fulford of E.Dublin and Christy Ammons of Baxley and sister-in-law, Teresa Fulford of E. Dublin. Pallbearers will be Allen Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Derack Fulford, Ryan Truett, Ricky Frost, Doug Truett and Jesse Stagger.
