Services for Billie Ruth Stinson, age 82, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Currie will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stinson died Monday, February 2, 2015. Mrs. Stinson, retired from Southland Nursing Home, was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelly Brooks and Addie Cofield Brooks; husband, Robert E. Stinson; daughter, Linda Stinson; sons, Robert Stinson, and Billy Stinson. Survivors include her children, Raymond (Bennie) Stinson, Elizabeth Gail Stinson (Walter) Passmore, Donald (Carol) Stinson, Franklin (Teresa) Stinson, all of Dublin, Jimmy R. (Donna) Stinson, of East Dublin; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Becky Stinson. Michael Stinson, Jason Arnold, William Arnold, Brian Leverette, Brian Stinson,and Josh Stinson will serve as pallbearers.
