Services for Billy F. Gobble, age 82, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Evergreen United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Rev. Larry Giles and Dr. Jack Key will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Gobble died Monday, February 16, 2015. Mr. Gobble was a member of Evergreen United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks. He was past Exalted Ruler of the Bristol,TN lodge, and past governor of the Bristol, TN Loyal Order of the Moose. Mr. Gobble was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Gobble and Cleo Witt Gobble,and sisters, Carolyn Mihara, and Ann Good. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Nancy Gobble, of Dublin; brother, Harry (Peggy) Gobble, of Southport, NC; niece, Stacye (Mark) Lee, of Dublin; nephews, Woody (Kathie) Luttrell, of Dublin, Kevin (Kristine) Gobble, of Greensboro, NC, Scott (Candy) Gobble, of Burlington, NC; great nieces and nephew, Sheila Luttrell, Katie Lee, Brittany Smith Lee, Krista Loyd Lee, Joseph Luttrell, Maddy Loyd Lee, all of Dublin. Greg Williams, Hershel Veal, William Coleman, Mark Lee, Woodrow Luttrell, and Joseph Luttrell will serve as pallbearers.
