Services for Billy Emory Stinson, age 62, of Dublin, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2014, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Currie will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Stinson died Saturday, December 6, 2014. Mr. Stinson was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a sanitation engineer at the Carl Vinson Veterans Medical Center. He was a loving father, son, and brother. Mr. Stinson was preceded in death by his father, Emory Stinson, brother, Robert Stinson, and sister, Linda Faye Stinson. Survivors include his son, Josh (Alison) Stinson; grandchildren, Haylee Darsey, Garrett Stinson; mother, Billie Ruth Stinson, all of Dublin; sister, Gail Passmore; brothers, Raymond Stinson, Donnie Stinson, Franklin Stinson, Jimmy Stinson; and several nieces and nephews.
