Services for Blenda Joyce Walker, age 57, of Cadwell will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2012 at Cadwell Baptist Church. Rev. Glynn Cranford and Rev. Al Haywood will officiate. Burial will follow at Snowhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Walker died Saturday, February 11, 2012. Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Ralph Spivey and the late Bessie Thomas Spivey. She was born in Dublin and was a lifelong resident of Cadwell. Survivors include her husband, Pete C. Walker, of Cadwell; children, Pete A. (Shannon) Walker, and Wenona (Alan) Todd, both of Cadwell; grandchildren, Jonathan P. Walker, Paige McKinzie, Kalab Todd, Jesse Todd, and A. J. Todd, all of Cadwell; great-grandchild, Jaden L. McKinzie, of Cadwell; sisters, Sandra Ethridge, Peggy Crooms, Betty Forbes, and Kathy Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. Roy Jackson, Ricky Walker, Jamie Forbes, Charles Cooper, Clay Cooper, and Wayne Carver will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 5:00PM Sunday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
