Services for C. B. (Carlos Bishop)Fort, age 57, of East Dublin will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate. Mr. Fort passed away at his home on February 5, 2013. Mr. Fort was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas and Myrtle Fort. He was employed at Forstmann & Company as supervisor for many years and also worked at YKK of America. He was a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fort was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Fort, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Faye W. Fort; son, Ricky (Marsha) Warnock, grandsons, Josh and Jacob Warnock, all of East Dublin; sister, Dorothy Smith, of Dublin; brother, Romie Twiggs, of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Chris Pullen, Jeffery Pullen, Glenn Shivers, Greg Shivers, James Darsey, and Shaun Scarborough will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday from 1:00PM until 200PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
