Services for Calcie Williams Wester, age 92, of Dexter, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Dexter United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Bernard Henry will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Wester died Thursday, April 24, 2014. Mrs. Wester was a member of Dexter United Methodist Church, where she served as chairman of the Hostess Committee, and as a member of the cancer support group for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Fountain, and Lillian Culpepper Fountain; husbands, Arthur A. Williams and Jack Wester; daughter, Dean Graham; granddaughter, Sabrina Wright; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors include her sons, Arthur "Buddy" (Colleen) Williams, John (Marcia) Williams, Roy (Hope) Williams, all of Dexter; sister, Mattie Lou (Melvin) Rogers, of Chester; grandchildren, Beverly Collins, of Dexter, Karen Fordham, of Cochran, Christie Jones, of Stafford, VA, Gloria Ehmen, of Stanford, CT, James Williams, of East Dublin, Claudia Graham, of Dublin, Jim Graham, of The Villages, FL, Tim Graham, Jeff Graham, both of Dublin, Ted Graham, Dan Graham, both of The Villages, FL; and the many great grandchildren. Jeff Graham, Dan Graham, James Williams, Brad Wright, Buck Rogers, and John Rogers will serve as pallbearers.
