Services for Carole Jean Fulghum, age 64, of Dublin, will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Rev. Al Purser will officiate. Mrs. Fulghum was a lifelong resident Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late Lofton Benson Brown and the late Estelle Viola Self Brown. Mrs. Fulghum was retired, working many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a loving caregiver by nature and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Roger Fulghum. Mrs. Fulghum passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Roger Fulghum of Dublin; two sons, Byron (Tammy) Fulghum of East Dublin and Sean (Michelle) Fulghum of Johnson, Co; two daughters, Crystal (Douglas) Johnson of East Dublin amd Suzanne (Daniel) Copas of Dublin; Grandchildren, Christin Price, Justin Hall, Ben Fulghum, Tiffany Farthing, Austin Fulghum and Hannah Fulghum; Great-grandchildren, Logan Denham, Makayla Mead, Adyson Farthing and Landyn Price; two sisters, Peggy Garnto and Polly Minter and brother, Paul Brown. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
