Carole Weaver Sheppard, age 68, of Marietta, formerly of Dublin, died Monday, April 28, 2014. Mrs. Sheppard retired from Bill & Carole's Styling Salon in August 2012. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Sheppard was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Jefferson Weaver and Mary Jessup Weaver Bobbitt. Survivors include her husband, Billy M. Sheppard, of Marietta; children, Angie and Johnny Henson, of Marietta, Jenny and Robbie Dixon, of Woodstock; granddaughters, Emma and Abby Dixon, both of Woodstock; sisters, Janice Fountain, Sarah Hammond, Lynn Wilkes; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
