Carolyn Grace Muns Carrier, passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 76. She was born on November 6, 1949, in Dublin, Georgia, and lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and quiet strength.

Carolyn was the daughter of the late G.W. and Beatrice Muns and was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Wilbur Muns. A devoted homemaker, Carolyn found her greatest joy in caring for others. She was of the Baptist faith, and her life reflected the values she held dear. She was loving, kind, and selfless, and those who knew her will remember that she would often do without so that others could be taken care of.

Carolyn had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make jokes, bringing laughter and light to those around her. She was also a great cook, and many cherished memories were made around her table. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in caring for them, supporting them, and sharing in their lives.

She is survived by her son, Mark Keith Alligood of Savannah; her daughter, Sonia Rene Bayto of Rentz; her son, Joseph Clyde Carrier, Jr. of East Dublin; and her son, Richard Clyde Carrier (Lona Cox Carrier) of Brunswick. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Kathy Muns of Dublin, and her brother, Mark Muns (Diane) of Minter.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

Pallbearers will Ken Helton, Charles Muns Jr., Joseph Carrier, Ash Warnock, Chandler Carter, and Parker Lord.
