Carolyn Kennedy Murphy, age 96 of Conyers, formerly of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until funeral hour on Saturday. Mrs. Murphy was a seamstress and a loving mother and grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Willie Alice Ellington Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Edwin Robinson and Julian Murphy and a son, Benjamin Robinson. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Ann Robinson Webb of Conyers; grandson, Dr. William E. Webb of Savannah; granddaughters, Karen Robinson Minter, Paula Robinson Steinberg and Melinda Robinson Stokes, all of Macon; several grandchildren; sister, Jane Harville of Macon and brother, Paul Kennedy of Dublin. Reese Stokes, Mark Harville, Jeff Harville, Monte Kellam and Chris Steinberg will serve as pallbearers.
