Carroll L. Scott, age 82, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016.

Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will private. Pastor Myron Wise will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Scott retired from Dublin Coca Cola after 32 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Scott and mother, Vera Osborne Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Weaver Scott of Dublin; daughters, Susan Scott Smith (Scott) of Euharlee, GA and Kimberly Scott Payne (John) of Dublin; grandsons, Matthew Payne (Amy), Jackson Payne, both of Dublin; great-grandsons, Jeremy Payne and Mason Payne, both of Dublin; brother, Hayward Scott of Monticello, FL, and special cousin, Catherine Holmes.
