Service for Carson Brown, age 88, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate. Mr. Brown died Friday, March 25, 2016. Mr. Brown, a lifelong resident of Laurens County, was a farmer and retired security guard. He loved being with his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Bracewell Brown; parents, Henry and Agnes Brown; sisters, Myrtle Maddox, Dorothy Johnson, Florrie Moses, and Betty Lou Coleman; brothers, Bobby Brown, and Jerrell Brown. Survivors include his daughters, Beverly (Monte) Garrett, Angela (Emory) Adams, and Bonnie (Jeff) Green, all of Dublin; grandchildren, Rodney (Jessica) Garrett, Misty (David) Thomas, Mindy (Lee) Harper, Ginger (Jason) Smith, Tyler Green, Kayla Adams, Trevor Green, and Taylor Adams, all of Dublin; great grandchildren, Emma Garrett, Katie Garrett, Ben Garrett, Carson Smith, Kaitlyn Thomas, and Madison Harper. Tyler Green, Trevor Green, Jason Smith, Lee Harper, David Thomas, and Jeffrey Brown, will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM
