Obituary

Catheryn Woodard Perry, age 89, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Northview Cemetery. Dr. Brad Ball will officiate. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines and masks are suggested.

Mrs. Perry was born in Laurens County on June 9, 1931 to the late James Augustus Woodard and the late Ruth Perry Woodard.  She was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church and was devout Christian with a servant's heart. Mrs. Perry enjoyed gardening and farming alongside her husband, Thomas Ray Perry, until his passing.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Perry Woodard, Cecil Woodard, and Lessie Wyatt, and children, Paula Perry and Donna Perry.

Survivors include her son, William Randall Perry (Shirley), of Dublin; daughter, Annette Perry, of Dublin; grandchildren, Chris Perry (Marsha), of Dublin, Emily Peterson (Chris), of Marshallville, Brandy Perry, Ashleigh Wood, and Shelby Edmondson, of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Rachel Perry, Will Perry, Leah Perry (Dalton), Drew Spivey, Mason Spivey, Henry Peterson, Harlow Peterson, Cage Kessler, Jordan Kessler; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 27, Dublin, GA, 31040.
