Cathy Lynn Daniels, age 67, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Daniels was born October 1, 1953, in Anchorage, Alaska; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Cecil Claude Slaughter and Betty Willis Slaughter Kight. She was formerly employed by Dublinair Health and Rehabilitation, Laurens Memorial Hospital, and Fairview Park Hospital as a nursing assistant. She later worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Shamrock Nursing Home, Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, and the Dublin Save- a- Life before retiring from KFC.

Cathy was a longtime member of Bethsaida Baptist Church and Dudley Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and was known as a prayer warrior among her peers. She loved to read and study her bible and she used that as a guide to her daily life. She loved her family and was very loved by her husband of 41 years and her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael E. Daniels of Dublin; sister, Diane Slaughter Chance of Dublin; two brothers, Ricky Slaughter of Dudley and Randy Slaughter of Rockledge; nieces, Staci Jackson of Dudley and Kristi Butler of Cedar Grove, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Dudley Baptist Church with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Billy Daws and Rev. Al Daniell will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the funeral home.
