Mrs. Charlene Lenette White, age 72, passed Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. White was born July 31, 1949 in Orlando, Florida; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Collel Barnhill & Florence Wicker Myers and her step-father, Jessie Myers. She was a homemaker and a diehard Elvis fan. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved having her family visit and while there, there was always more food than you could eat. She always sent you home with food. She loved shopping and doing word puzzles.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joe White; three sons, Joseph D. White, Timothy J. White and Wesley J. White; four grandchildren, Cesar Aguirre, Shania Ramirez, Miranda White and Matthew White; a God-son, Wraith Nelson; three step-grandchildren, Daryl Bettis, Trinity Bettis and Destiny Downard; and her brothers and sisters, Collette, Charlotte, Willie, Cheryl, Bill and Colleen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rentz City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends, from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Henry Evans, Lester Brown, Donnie Evans, Paul Evans, Wesley White, Tim White, Cesar Aguirre, Joseph White and Wraith Nelson.
