Services for Charles Gordon Lee, age 95 of Dublin, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 25, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Dublin. Dr. Jack Key and Rev. Thad Haygood will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. He passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Serenity Place. Mr. Lee was a Veteran of the United States Air Corp and was stationed in India during WWII. He was retired from National Airlines, working as an inspector on airplanes for 35 years, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dublin. Mr. Lee was the son of the late John Richard Lee and Pearl Martin Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Richard Lee and Joe E. Lee. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Prince Lee of Dublin; daughter, Cynthia Lee of Dublin; son, Gordon (Marilyn) Lee of Cochran; granddaughter, Melanie Lee (Jason) Bartram of Loganville; grandson, Bryan Lee of Atlanta and great-grandson, Matthew Bartram of Loganville. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
