Services for Charles William (C.W.) Webb, age 86, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2015 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Myron Wise, Rev. Earl Warnock, and Rev. Robert Webb will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Webb died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Mr. Webb, retired owner of Webb Insurance Agency, was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Webb and Cornelia Foskey Webb; wife and mother of his children, Warrennella Spence Webb; grandson, Robert Todd Reeves. Survivors include his wife, Winifred Douglas Jackson Webb, of Dublin; children, Betty (Billy) Mixon, of Lawrenceville, Becky (Bob) Reeves, of Fair Play, SC, Robert (Kay) Webb, of Dublin, Kenny (Donna) Webb, of Leesburg; step-daughter, Hope(Brad) Joyner, of Bryon; ten grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren. Beau Mixon, Tyler Mixon, Cody Mixon, Rhett Mixon, Trevor Fulenwider, Evan Schultz, Brad Joyner, and Amos Buckner will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Tarpley, Jack and Ruth Ann Key, J. Roy and Luella Rowland, Yates and Mary Ware, Carlton and Patsy Spence, Carson Knight, Kevin Tanner, and Gerald Fraser. The family would like to express a special appreciation to all the staff at Serenity Hospice for their compassion and caring attention shown to Mr. Webb and the family during their difficult journey.
