Charlie Walton Roberts, Jr., age 59, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Mr. Roberts was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a loving son and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Walton Roberts, Sr. and brother, Randall "Buddy" Roberts. Survivors include his mother, Joyce Hancock, of Dublin; sisters, Charline Laney (Joel), of Hawkinsville, Kathy Carswell (Chris), of Dublin, Pam Graham, of Milledgeville, Jan Warnock (Joey), of East Dublin and Dawn Cain (Wayne), of Dublin, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog and loyal companion, George. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:30PM until 7:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1:00PM in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate. Pallbearers will be Buddy Bloodworth, Eric Walker, Joey Warnock, Joel Laney, Wayne Cain and Luke Cain.
