Christopher Michael Dukes, age 41 of Warner Robins, formerly of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. L.T. Logue will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour on Saturday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Chris requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2302 Park Lane Dr. NE, Suite 210, Atlanta, GA 30345. Chris had an infectious laugh and quick wit. He loved his dogs and was adored by numerous friends. He will be sorely missed. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Cora Mae Dukes and Rassie and Nellie Mary Soles; uncle, Robert Soles and cousins, Nicholas and Brandon Dukes. Survivors include his mother, Sheila Mae Dukes Salter of Dublin; father, Rayford Soles (Janice) of Glenwood; brother, John Roe Meeks, III; sisters, Tori Phillips (Kevin) of Wrightsville, Amy Soles Clark and Alisha Soles, both of East Dublin; uncles, Steve Dukes (Loretta) of Dublin, Shane Dukes of Dublin, R.L. Soles of California and Mack Soles of East Dublin; aunts, Debra Munoz and Sandra Moad, both of Dublin, Bernice Odom of Eastman and Louise Williams of Statesboro; special friend, Jessica Leigh Beckham of Warner Robins; goddaughter, Laura Ysabel Kunselman of Warner Robins and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
