Memorial services for Clara Foskey Simmons, age 67, of Dublin, will be held at 10:00AM on December 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Everett Foskey and Rev. Robbie Jones will officiate. Mrs. Simmons was a member of Central Drive Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Jim Foskey and the late Thelma Hall Foskey. She was preceded in death by a brother Junior Foskey. Mrs. Simmons passed away on Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Serenity Place. She is survived by three sons; Stephen Alfred Simmons of Dublin, Timothy Charles Simmons and Nelson Farrell Simmons both of East Dublin, Grandchildren; Sheena Simmons of Tampa, FL, Steven Farrell Simmons and Laura Elizabeth Simmons both of Eastman, Taylor Ashley Simmons and Cameron Ryan Simmons both of East Dublin, sisters; Jimmie Piper, Diane Patterson, Claudia Maddox, Maudie Martin all of Eastman, Martha Pritchett of Cochran, brothers; Clarence Foskey of Macon, GA and Cleveland Foskey of Guyton, GA, numerous nieces nephews and special cousins Gene and Carleen Passmore. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Clara Simmons, 208 Hillcrest Drive in Dublin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Serenity Place, 504 Parker Dairy Road, Dublin, GA 31021.
