Clarice Williams Smith, age 89 of Dexter, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Services will be held at 11:00PM on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Dexter Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Larry Waldrep and Rev. Brad Nowell will officiate. Mrs. Smith was one of six children of the late David "Bud" Williams and Susie Mae Wall Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Nathaniel Smith and two brothers, Andrew Jackson Williams and Edward Williams. Mrs. Smith was retired from J.P. Stevens She is survived by her sons, Bobby Ray Smith and Alvin N. Smith, Jr. both of Dexter, siblings; Mary May, David Murray Williams, Jane Eunity Hattaway, grandchildren; Robert Cole Smith, Michelle Simpson, Stephen "Buck" Smith, great grandson, Jacob Alvin Simpson. Don Hobbs, Jr., Jake Simpson, Stephen Smith, Robert Cole Smith, Ricky Hobbs and Jeffrey Hobbs will serve as Pallbearers.
