Services for Clinton C. Dominy, age 75, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Jefferson Street Baptist Church Chapel. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Mr. Dominy died Sunday, August 23, 2015. Mr. Dominy, a 1957 graduate of Cadwell High School, signed to play baseball with the Pittsburg Pirates. He was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and retired American General insurance agent. Mr. Dominy was a loving husband, Daddy, and PaPa. Mr. Dominy was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice Dominy and Nellie Dominy Underwood, and brother Darryl Underwood. Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Lynell Daniell Dominy, of Dublin; children, Brian Dominy, of Boca Raton, FL, Brandi (Manuel) Delacruz, of Dublin; granddaughters, Ansleigh Delacruz, Alaina Delacruz, both of Dublin; brother, Edward (Gail) Dominy, of Dublin. Frankie Bracewell, Jeff Bruton, Mickey Daniell, Neil Daniell, David Daniell, and Bruce Dominy will serve as pallbearers.
