Services for Connie Colter Belote, age 67 of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 25, 2014, at First Baptist Church. Dr. Cliff Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. There will be a private family graveside service. Mrs. Belote was a graduate of Dublin High School and Jones College in Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of First Baptist Church and volunteered for several ministries. She was one of the original organizers of the Dublin Chapter of ABC Women's Clinic, formerly Save a Life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Oswald "Bud" Colter. She is survived by her husband, William M. "Mike" Belote, of Dublin, children, Michael David Belote, Molly Belote (Evan) Gay both of Dublin, Kimberly Belote Worthman of Valdosta, grandchildren, Kailey Belote, Abby Belote, Katherine Belote, William Gay, Mitchell Gay, Isabella Worthman, Joshua Worthman, and her mother, Murray Adderhold Slade, brother, Jerry Colter of Camden, TN, several nieces and nephews. Lee Eggert, Charlie Garbutt, Roger Smith, Robert Smith, Cam Belote and Michael Price will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ABC Women's Clinic, P.O. Box 1927, Dublin, GA 31040.
