Daniel Joseph Carr, age 53, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. Mr. Carr was born May 17, 1963 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He resided in both Dublin and Savannah, GA. Dan worked as a Mortgage Banker for 19 years and was currently employed at CBC National Bank in Savannah. He attended Liberty Church in Dublin and was a member of the Hilton Head Cycling Club and the Savannah Wheelmen Cycling Club. Mr. Carr was preceded in death by his father, James Richard Carr and brother, James Robert Carr. Survivors include his wife, Melinda Lewis Carr; mother, Shirlee Fesko Carr, of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Steve Carr (Suzanne) and John Carr (Ella), both of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Carolyn Geisler and Kathy Thomas (Jeff), both of Indianapolis, IN; step-daughters, Nichole Bell (Taylor), and Dana Hall (Clay), both of Dublin; grandchildren, Dawson Bell, Joanna Bell, Leah Hall and Kinsley Hall and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Dixon will officiate.
