Services for Darryl Leon Price, age 53 of Danville, will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ivey Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Price was a retired United States Marine. He was a former director of the American Red Cross. He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Price. He passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014. Survivors include his wife, Jill Barrett Price of Danville; son, Christian Price of Danville; mother, Peggy Price Todd of Danville; brother, Anthony (Tony) J. Price of Macon; sisters, Lisa (Clint) Mallery of Seattle, WA, Robin Price of Greenville, NC, and Caroline (Ian) Metcalfe of Byron; step-daughters, Tiffany Smith of East Dublin and step-granddaughter, Allyson Queen of East Dublin. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
