David Robert Register, Jr., age 93, of Rentz, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Rentz Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Register was born in Laurens County to the late David Robert Register, Sr. and the late Anna Mae Colter Register. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII, and a retired farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Scarborough Register; son-in-law, Earl Graham, and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Morris (Ricky),of Rentz, and Pamela Graham, of Dublin; son, David Register, of Rentz; grandchildren, Matthew Morris, Miranda Morris Sims, Walter Morris, Kristina Graham, Alex Graham, Sarah Register Warnock, Kyle Register, and Davie Register; three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
