Dianne G. Watson, Age 74, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022.

Mrs. Watson was born October 17, 1948 to Louise S. and Landrum J. Garrett.  She was a retired medical coder, having worked at the local VA Hospital for many years.  She also worked as an Asst. Manager at Sears & Roebuck earlier in her career.  She was a lifelong resident of Dublin and a member of Northside Baptist Church.  She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents, five of her eight siblings and her husband of 48+ years, Edward L. Watson.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Garrett (Maxine); sisters, Jeannelle Carter and Betty Lou Robertson; sons Bryan Watson (Deanna) and James "Jamie" Watson (Kristy); granddaughters, Kirsten Carter (Shane Genneken), Lindsey Bray, Amber Ogden (David), Ansley McClure (Jeremy), Abby Kennedy (Sean); and great greatgrandchildren, Colton Carter, Palmer Ogden, Noah Genneken, Luca Genneken and Watson McClure as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff at Addington Place of Dublin for their love and care for our mother.

Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm at Townsend Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 with a funeral service and graveside committal at Dublin Memorial Gardens to follow as soon as practicable.
