Services for Dixie Dail Campbell, age 75 of Dublin, will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Big Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Loretta Faulk and Sister Betty Jane Wimberly will officiate. She passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and retired from JP Stevens after 30 years as a mender. She was a member of Bridge of Hope Church and a former member of the Moose Lodge. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Adel Foss Dail and her husband, Bobby "Bob" Joe Campbell. Survivors include her children, Cathy Ammons of Gray, Terry Leary (Cheryl) of Swainsboro, Sheryl Lovett (Stevie) of Dublin, Joey Campbell (Angela) of Dublin and Jacki Campbell Broughton of Dublin; grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Kyle), Chad Upshaw (Stacey), Nicki Harris (Eddie), Shane Lovett (Amanda), Cory Leary, Jodi Sasser (Craig); 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chad Upshaw, Shane Lovett, Eddie Harris, Donnie Sanders, Michael Carter and Mike Wynn. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The family may be contacted at the home of Stevie and Sheryl Lovett.
