Dixie T. Dearman, age 72 of East Dublin, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Dearman was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. She enjoyed participating in many St. Patrick events over the years and was formerly employed with Middle Georgia Easter Seals. She was a caring, loving, and giving person who will be deeply missed. Mrs. Dearman was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Lester and Martha Grier Taylor; husband, Jimmy Dale Dearman and brother, Edgar Frank Taylor. Survivors include her children; April Cynthia Pinion (Herbert E.) of Montrose, Teresa Gorji (Bijan) of Osprey, FL and Shannon Lawson (Angie) of E. Dublin; grandchildren, Chris Mullis, Alecia Mullis, Michael Mullis, Kaylee Veal, Trevor Gorji, Natalie Gorji, Austin Lawson, Alexis Lawson; great-grandchildren, Tyler Veal and Jaxen Veal; sister, Barbara T. Knight of Dublin; step-children, Jeffrey Scott Dearman and Tanya Michelle Janney from Ranburne, AL and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tim Veal, Herbert Pinion, Jeff Dearman, Dusty Veal, Liston Bethea and Earl Morgan.
