Don McCoy, age 75, of Dublin, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Minter Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Smith and Derrell Thipgen will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jim Barwick, Tommy Sutton, Jeff Patisaul, Sammy Barwick, Dana Barwick, Vicky Thipgpen and Skeeter Thigpen.

Mr. McCoy was retired from Bassett Furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents, Major McCoy and Effie Allen McCoy and brother, Hollis Howell

He is survived by his sons, Tommy "Tank" McCoy and Bryant McCoy, both of Dublin; daughters, Joanne Sutton (Tommy), of Rentz and Donna Jean Holland (Robert), of East Dublin; sisters, Vonnell Stephens, Elizabeth Barwick and Rebecca Barwick (Georgia), all of Vidalia, Ann Bohanna of Hazlehurst, MaryLou Warren of Rentz and Marilan Thigpen (Mert) of Scott; 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
