Donald Beasley, age 80, of East Dublin, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 after an extended illness. Mr. Beasley was born in Treutlen County to the late Tildon and Effie Redfern Beasley. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam. Don retired from Graham Brothers Construction and he loved his family above everything, except for his love of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Beasley. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Bryan Beasley, of East Dublin; son, Joshua Beasley (Amber), of Dublin; daughter, Tonia Kirkley (Butch), of Eastman; step-son, Christopher Taylor (Angela), of Tallahassee, FL; step-daughter, Krystal Metcalf (Brian), of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Jeanie McLendon, of Brunswick, Sarah Quick (Don), of Soperton, Lennie Claxton (Mike), of Wrightsville, and Angie Hooks (Wayne), of Soperton; brothers, Bobby Beasley (Patty), of Brunswick, and Hugh Beasley (Debbie), of Adrian; grandchildren, Alex Bergland (Michael), of Athens, Spencer Kirkley, of Eastman, Alex Beasley and Jenna Beasley, both of Dublin, Blake Beasley, of Dudley, Brydon Taylor, of Tallahassee, FL, Blayne Becker and Tinsley Becker, both of Dublin, Kimberly Taylor and Ryan Woodard, both of Tallahassee, FL, Cristopher Rickerson and Craig Rickerson, both of Savannah. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:30PM in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Keith Hall and Rev. Jody Martin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Josh Muñoz, Jeremy Bryan, Christopher Taylor, Kenny Anderberg, Bobby Leroy, and Joseph Cable.
