Services for Donald Eugene Moore, age 78 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Audirsch will officiate. Mr. Moore was an active member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and the Bernard Hurley Sunday School Class. He was an Active Dublin Fighting Irish fan and a member of the Laurens County Sportsmen Club. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Eunice Herndon Moore; brother, Bobby Moore and sister, Joann Moore. He passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Moore of Dublin; two daughters, Candace Jean Moore of Dublin and Michele (Bruce) Greenwall of Bogart and four grandchildren, Seth, Sarah, Rachel and Rebecca Greenwall all of Bogart. Pallbearers will be Bobby Davidson, Hugh Smith, Dwight Smith, Darrell Holliday, Charles Frost and Cecil Willis. The Bernard Hurley Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
