Mrs. Donnie Rutledge age 75 of East Dublin, passed away April 1, 2017. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Union Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour. Mrs. Rutledge was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was a Volunteer at the Laurens Baptist Association and was retired from Oxford Manufacturing as an Administrative Assistant. She loved working in her yard, reading and antiquing. Donnie had a special love for her grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby James Rutledge and her parents, Dewey Mimbs and Elma Glover Mimbs. Survivors include her son, Darryl (Michelle) Rutledge, grandson, Christopher J. Rutledge, and a brother Dewey A. (Penny) Mimbs all of East Dublin and several nieces and nephews. Johnny Wilson, Mark Mimbs, Roy Kight and Shaun Scarborough will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Baptist Church or to the Laurens Baptist Association.
