Services for Doris Watson Evans, age 69 of Dublin, will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, January 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ussery Family Cemetery. Shane Knight will officiate. Mrs. Evans was retired from Allen Bradley/Rockwell and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by her father, James Clarence Watson; mother, Alberta Christine Register Watson; two brothers, Ollis Watson and Julian Watson and two sisters, Annie Mae Coleman and Atha Knight. Mrs. Evans passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. Survivors include her husband, George Wayne Evans of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Deborah Evans of Dublin; two grandsons, Todd (Delaine) Evans and Toby Evans both of Dublin; great-grandson, Kylan Evans of Dublin; two sisters, Betty (Artrell) McCullars and Judy Vann (Larry) Gilreath, both of Dublin; brother, Russell (Virginia) Watson of Eastman and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Reggie McCullars, Ryan McCullars, Adam McCullars, Robby Vann, Michael Schillingburg and Eddie Watson.
