Doris Alline Mimbs, age 88, of East Dublin, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 9:00AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Barbara Nelson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brent Mimbs, Butch Clay, Dalton Mimbs, Jarred Mimbs, Jason Mimbs and Colby Green. Mrs. Mimbs was a homemaker and member of Brewton United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and shopping. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Herman Ellis; mother, Esther Ellis Dixon; step-father, William Henry Dixon and brother, W.B. Ellis. Survivors include her husband, T.L. Mimbs, Jr. of East Dublin; daughter, Diane Green of Marietta; son, Jerry Mimbs of East Dublin; grandsons, Jarred Mimbs of Rentz, Jason Mimbs of East Dublin and Colby Green of Cumming; great-grandson, Dalton Mimbs of East Dublin; sisters, Christine Clay and Nellie Davis, both of Dublin and several nieces and nephews.
