Dorothy H. McNair, age 85, of Tennille, formerly of East Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Wheeler County. Rev. Ben Lumley will officiate.

Mrs. McNair was born in Treutlen County to the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Hutcheson. She retired from Oxford Company and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Larmar McNair.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon M. Stokes of Tennille; son, Billy Robin McNair (Chubby) of East Dublin; grandchildren, Holly M. Walker (Waylon) of Tennille and Casey Craig Steiger (Jesse), Christopher McNair (Amanda) and Dylan McNair, all of East Dublin; seven great grandchildren and sister, Amanda H. Lumley of Bowman.

Pallbearers will be Harley Walker, Joshua Lindsey, Christopher McNair, Dylan McNair, Jesse Steiger and Chuck Morris.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Christopher McNair of Friday, June 17, 2016 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
