Biography Funeral services for Dorothy Lou Sanders, age 57, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2011 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Pastor Andy Wood will officiate. Mrs. Sanders passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Mrs. Sanders was born on October 31, 1953, in Brunswick, the daughter of the late John Nichols and the late Maggie Creel Nichols. She was a member of the Church of God. In loving memory of a wonderful person, and the loving wife of Keith Sanders; and the greatest mother of Samantha Long, Kristie and Charles Wood, Gary and Jennifer O'Berry, Jr., and Aaron Nichols; grandmother of Kimberly O'Berry, Jeremiah O'Berry, Phillip Long, Jacob O'Berry, Ashlie Wood, Charlie Wood, Ciera O'Berry, and Tristen O'Berry; and great grandmother of Mariah Brice and AJ Brice; and aunt of Kelly Stephens. She is also loved by several nieces and nephews, The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
