Services for Dorothy Morgan Sapp, age 91 of Dublin, will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Boiling Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Dr. Jack Key and Rev. Lamar Rabun will officiate. Mrs. Sapp passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010. Mrs. Sapp was born April 17,1919 in Brewton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shug Morgan and Victoria Granger Morgan. Mrs. Sapp was a devoted Christian and passionate about animals. She enjoyed working outdoors plating flowers and cutting grass. She was a proud grandparent and an even more proud great-grandmother. Mrs. Sapp was a member of Boiling Springs United Methodist Church and she was a retired nurse. Survivors include her son, Jai Sapp of Dublin, daughter, Antonia Shacklett of San Antonio, TX, brother, Ed Morgan of Dublin, grandchildren, Dena Shacklett Nunn, Davit Shacklett, Jr., Kiffany Sapp Hall, Morgan Sapp, great grandchildren, Carley Nunn and Shelby Nunn In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dublin-Laurens Humane Society.
