Dwight Overstreet, age 67, of Montrose, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Montrose Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery. Rev. Randy Mimbs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour at the church on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Cooper, Ronnie Skipper, Freddie Cook, Al Starley, Matt Hasty, Ricky Kirkland, Randolph Sanchez, and Ricky Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Anderson, and Davey Brown.

Mr. Overstreet was a graduate of Dudley High School. He was a member of Montrose Baptist Church and the owner of Overstreet's Body Shop.

Dwight was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Overstreet; mother and step-father, Kate and JM Roberson, and sister, Suzanne Albritton.

Survivors include his wife, Kathey Wells Overstreet, of Montrose; sons, David Overstreet (Tina), of Oxford, Danny Overstreet (Amanda), of Rentz, and Robby Overstreet (Miranda), of Montrose, Phillip Overstreet, of Dublin; grandsons, Devin Overstreet, of Vienna, Hunter Overstreet, of Montrose, and Lane Overstreet, of Montrose; granddaughter, Brentley Overstreet, of Rentz; brother, Freddie Overstreet, of Thompson; sister, Brenda Rukab, of Yulee, FL; brother, Robert Roberson (Pam), of Rentz, and several nieces and nephews.
