Biography Services for Eazell Braddy Loyd, age 87 will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Minter Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Minter Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Martin and Rev. Ben Edwards will officiate. Mrs. Loyd was born in Laurens County to the late L.O. Braddy and Ellen Perdue Braddy. She was a graduate of Dublin High School. Mrs. Loyd was a homemaker, she also worked with Laurens Food Nutrition Program and the Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of Minter Baptist Church. Mrs. Loyd died Monday, April 02, 2012 at Serenity Place. Survivors include her children; Patsy (Dahl) McDermitt, Betty Jo (Mike) Spivey and Brad Loyd; brother, Luthell Braddy, grandchildren; Stacey Stewart, Kristie (Brett) Bailey, Dan (Julie) Hooks, JoBett Veal, Dereck (Amanda) Loyd, Josh (Gilda) Loyd and 10 great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and the Adult Sunday School Class of Minter Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice or Minter Baptist Church. The family will be at the home of Patsy and Dahl McDermitt, 1106 Shamrock Drive and will receive friends at Minter Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday.
