Eddie Iverline Payne, age 95 of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, August 06, 2015. Services will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Robert Rogers and Rev. Ken Brogden will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM until funeral hour on Sunday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Payne was the oldest member of Centerville Baptist Church and was a very faithful member. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Burnsie Dominy and the late Eddie Adams Dominy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Payne; son, Burnsie Payne; grandson, Scott Brown; son-in-law, Joe Brown and sisters, Mae D. Wendt and Elizabeth D. Malone. She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Payne Brown of Dublin and daughter-in-law, Brenda R. Payne and several nieces and nephews. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Payne, Wade Payne, Doyle Stanley and the Deacons of Centerville Baptist Church.
