Edna Elizabeth Fountain, age 92, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fountain was born in Laurens County to the late Daniel H. and Annie Lee Stewart Thigpen. She was a homemaker and member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Berner Robert Fountain, and brothers, Joram Thigpen and Malcolm Thigpen.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenna Harley (Jack), of Macon; grandchildren, Michael Harley (Kristi), of Gray, and Scott Harley (Deanna), of Macon; great-grandchildren, Micah Harley, Train Harley, Zane Harley, and Ramsey Harley; brother, W.C. Thigpen, of Minter, and several nieces and nephews.
