Funeral Services for Edward Lamar Watson, age 67 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2016 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jim Sowden and Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate.

He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired Maintenance Electrician with Gilman Building Products. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a graduate of Laurens High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Wade Watson and Perlie Ambrose Watson, two brothers, Floyd Watson and Dennis Watson. Mr. Waston passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne G. Watson, sons; Bryan (Deanna) Watson, James (Kristy) Watson, granddaughters, Kirsten Watson Carter, Amber Watson, Ansley Watson, Abby Watson, Lindsey Bray, sisters in law; Burnette Watson and Ruth Watson, numerous nieces and nephews, and his four legged buddy, Charlie.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
